See what people are saying about "A Family for Eve"

~Lori Printy, author of the adoption blog, Five Of My Own wrote  "It is a book about adoption and how adoptive families are formed. What I really love about it is that it's country/race/gender neutral. I've found lots of adoption books about Chinese adoption but not much for Kazakstan, nevermind the mixing of bio and adopted children in a family. This story allows my children to see themselves and our family in the animal characters.  It's simple and sweet and positively brilliant!

~Sara from D.C,  "Just finished reading a very special book to R for the third straight time- at her request. We both absolutely love the story, the message, and the pictures. It is truly a perfect "bridge" book for kids who are ready to process their adoption on the next level. We love it already, and I suspect it will quickly become a bedtime favorite. And the first thing R said when she opened the cover, "It is blue and yellow like Kazakhstan!"

~Jen from NY,  "G has been carrying it around all evening, and Jim is up there reading it to both of them now. Awesome! Oh yeah, and she is loving the graphics. She is calling it "HER kitty book." The pink bow was the perfect touch.

~Wendy said, "Awesome story, very basic, yet hits home. Thanks for saying difficult things in an easy, elementary way. {I still cried while reading the darn thing to the girls...}"

Susan from Texas sent this heartmelting picture of her daughter.  "Here is the photo of S. She got out of bed, got it, apparently was reading it and then fell asleep. It's a huge honor to be the chosen favorite item to sleep with S.

~Dawn from S.C wrote about her sweet daughter G, "My book arrived today and I sat down to read it to my daughter before bed tonight. After I was done she gave me the biggest hug I've gotten in awhile and said "I'm just glad you'll never leave me". Thank you this book is amazing it's one that will be read over and over again in our house and treasured.

~Jodi wrote: My three kiddos LOVE this book! It is a great addition to our adoption library. I also like that animals are used. We can talk about how our family is different without directly relating to any one character in the story. I really feel that allows my kids to feel their real feelings rather than the feelings of anyone in a book.

~Andrea C. from R.I. sent us a message saying "We are in our fourth night in a row of reading "A Family for Eve"  A's top pick! :-)"

~Dawn sent us this beautiful picture  with the following message, "Kristan, this is G and her version of Eve.  Given to her my FIL because she loved your book so much.  She took her to my MIL's house to see if my MIL could tie a pink bow on her to make her look more like Eve.  As you could see, our Eve had to be safe.  Thought you'd like to see Our family is still impacted by Your book often
